The Club Baloncesto Breogán is a basketball entity of the city of Lugo (Galicia). Founded in 1966 by brothers Varela Portas and Pardo, ascended for the first time the Spanish first division in 1971. This is one of the biggest clubs in the history of Spanish basketball (specifically, ranks ninth in the ranking). After seven consecutive seasons in the ACB League, currently plays in the second category of the Spanish Basketball Liga LEB.
